How does Anorly protect privacy?
Everything runs locally on your machine. Audio transcription, screen capture, and AI analysis all happen on-device. No data is sent to external servers. Your privacy is guaranteed by design, not by policy.
Is it really undetectable?
Yes. Anorly uses multiple layers of protection: hidden from screen sharing (Zoom, Teams, Meet), hidden from screenshots, hidden from Mission Control and Cmd+Tab. The overlay is invisible to others but visible to you.
What happens after download?
1. Download the Mac ZIP. 2. Move Anorly to Applications. 3. On first launch, macOS may warn about an unverified developer — go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway". 4. Grant Screen Recording permission. 5. Use Cmd+Shift+S to capture. That's it.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel your subscription anytime in the app settings. Your free tier access continues indefinitely. No questions asked, no hidden fees.
What AI model does it use?
Anorly uses Claude AI (Anthropic) for analysis. Your API key stays local. You can also use local models via Ollama for complete offline operation if you prefer.
Does Anorly work with proctoring software?
No. Anorly is NOT undetectable for Proctor360, Proctorio, Honorlock, Examity, Respondus LockDown Browser, ProctorExam, Mercer Mettl, PSI Bridge, OnVUE, or Pearson VUE. These desktop proctoring apps have advanced detection that bypasses browser sandbox protections.
